I have just completed facilitating a strategic planning process for the Leavenworth,Kansas Public Library. The plan calls for a major strategic direction of a user-centric, state of the art library through:

• Redirect the library collection toward a high demand popular collection.
• Upgrade library spaces to be active and user oriented, and to provide a state-of-the-art electronic infrastructure.
• Realign staff to meet user needs.
